If you're comparing prices, be sure to
look for "momme" numbers. There's no
such thing as thread count for silk
bedding. Instead, momme weight is used
to indicate quality. The abbreviation is
"mm." The higher the
number, the better! (If momme isn't
mentioned, beware.)
Some prefer
the bulkier feel of "raw" silk fleece.
It adds weight but allows the skin to
breathe.
