Secure Checkout
SimoSilk.com uses secure data encryption,
meaning we encrypt ALL information the customer
enters into the shopping cart. Credit card
numbers are NEVER emailed in order confirmations
— not even internally, between our cart service
and SimoSilk.com.
We do not store your credit card number after
the transaction, and we delete it within 30 days.

How To Pay
SimoSilk accepts major credit cards issued in the US (Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
Discover) and PayPal, personal checks, cashier's
checks, or money
orders (please allow extra time for any check or
money order to clear before we ship your order).
The charge for your order will appear on your credit card
bill as SimoSilk.
For international orders, since credit cards
cannot be verified for non-US residents, payment
will need to be made via PayPal (payable to
order-info@simosilk.com) or a cashier's check
payable to SimoSilk.
Sales Tax
We are required to collect "destination-based" sales and use tax from Washington state
customers. Our current Seattle tax rate of 10% will be
applied by our shopping cart system but will be adjusted if the rate is lower at the
shipping destination. Note: sales and use tax is applied to the entire
total, including shipping fee (if any).
Processing of Orders
While we do use a state-of-the-art secure shopping cart
to receive orders, we process all transactions the
old-fashioned way, manually on
our store terminal for maximum security.
We usually process your order within 1-2 days (unless
paying by check or money order). If we
find that we are out of the item in the color/size you ordered,
we will contact you by email, fax, phone, or postal mail to inform
you and offer a substitute. In that case, we would NOT charge your credit card
or PayPal account until we know your wishes.
Occasionally, an item may already be sold out before the
website reflects the change. Please call or email to check
availability if possible.
How To Change Your Order
SimoSilk processes incoming orders very quickly, so if you find that you have made a mistake ordering, or have any problems or questions, please
call us at 1-800-700-4393 or email us immediately.
Please furnish the order number if possible.
If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able
to intercept it. However, if the product has already been
picked up for shipping, we will be unable to change any portion of your
order.

Shipping Fees
Within the United States, the following rates apply:
$10.00 for purchases under $300 — waived for orders over
$300.

International Shipping
We ship worldwide. Need international shipping? Go
ahead and place your order. After we deduct the fee our
shopping cart automatically charged, we'll let you know what additional charges will be
due and won't proceed until you authorize the extra fee.

If your credit card was not issued in the United States,
we will need payment to be made via PayPal or cashier's check.
Shipping Carriers
We usually ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United
Parcel Service (UPS).
Returns & Exchanges
If you have received damaged, defective or incorrectly
shipped merchandise, please call us immediately at
1-800-700-4393. We will make it right as quickly as possible.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, contact us WITHIN 14 DAYS. SimoSilk will remove
the charge from your credit card or refund your PayPal
account (minus a 15% restocking fee) upon receipt
of unopened, unused merchandise. We cannot grant
refunds for returns of items that have been opened, used, or
washed. The item must be in new, resalable condition.
Return/Exchange Instructions
Merchandise that meets the above conditions can be returned but must be
authorized in advance. Contact us
at 1-800-700-4393 WITHIN 14 DAYS to obtain authorization
to return your purchase(s).
The customer is responsible for securely packing and shipping back
the product in its original packaging.
If requesting an exchange, the customer pays
for shipping both ways. If requesting a refund, a 15%
restocking fee applies, and the customer pays for shipping
the item(s) back to us.
