Care Instructions:
Our high-quality silk comforter sets can last a long time if you follow
these guidelines.
Always use the washable silk duvet cover to protect the silk floss
filling
from dirt and stains. The cover and pillow shams are machine-washable with cold water,
and can be dried in the dryer on low heat.
The comforter itself
cannot be washed. However, it is encased in a gauzy cotton shell to
enable outdoor airing of the silk fibers. Exposing the silk floss to
sunshine and air (for up to one hour each time) is
necessary to allow the natural silk fibers to breathe and let the moisture
evaporate, making your silk comforter fluffy again.
Momme (m/m): A Japanese measurement
of mass equivalent to 3.76g (approximately). It is used to indicate the
weight per unit area of silk fabric, this being expressed as the weight in momme of a length of degummed fabric 22.8 M in length and 3.8 cm in width.
